Director's Message and National Tour Announcement

President’s Message:

Great News! Fellow CHVA Members Don & Debbie Beck and Malcolm & Sherri McIntrye have stepped up and are putting a Tour together for us this year! The tour will be from September 30 thru October 4 in Iowa, so please mark your calendars. More information to follow.

If you have never attended a National Tour, I would strongly ask you to consider joining us. My wife and I have now participated in several and all have been amazing! Great times with great people, you will not be disappointed.

As I hope you are all aware, we have our own website - https://www.chvanational.org. This site is available to all CHVA Members for posting information about your regions, events and news. Sadly, it is being way under used. I posted a message back in February, and as of this writing it has had a total of 7 looks. Not what we were hoping for from the website. Please contact our Editor – Mary Pope, she will be glad to help out.

Another issue I’m sure you’re all aware of is declining membership. It’s not just our club but a national trend. We have had many members pass on to the Grand Tour in the Sky and they are sorely missed. Still, we need to see if we can recruit new members. At one time, this was one of the largest Car Enthusiasts Clubs in the Country. Please ask your friends and family to consider joining CHVA. If anyone has any ideas for growing our membership, please let me know, I would love to hear them.

Hopefully looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones this fall.
